In the spirit of goodwill and holiday fun, the Hollidaysburg Area Women's Club is extending the deadline for entries into their Gingerbread House Contest to Saturday, December 12th. There is no entry fee for the contest. Any participants who have registered and paid an entry fee will receive a full refund. All entries will be displayed in the shop windows along Allegheny Street in Hollidaysburg.

Entry forms are available at the YMCA and Hollidaysburg Area Public Library, or email Kathy Mueller, Arts Committee Chairperson at Kat1437@msn.com or call 814-934-1245. Prizes will be awarded in the following three categories: Youth/Beginner; Intermediate/Advanced; and Aspiring Professional/Professional. The public is encouraged to visit the marked locations on Allegheny Street in Hollidaysburg to vote for their favorite entry. Winners will be announced on December 23rd. HAWC is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs and GFWC Pennsylvania.

Royer Mansion's Gift Shop will be open on Saturdays, Nov. 28, Dec. 5, and 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays, Nov. 29, Dec. 6, and 13 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Self-guided tours available during these hours. Any person bringing non-perishable food items will get free admission! All food donations will be given to the Williamsburg Food Bank. Visit this historic site decorated for the holidays and help our local Food Bank!

Enjoy More Than 51 Acres of Animated Holiday Light Displays Plus a Holiday Gift Shop & Model Train Display at Lakemont Park. There will be Refreshments, Holiday Decorations, Gifts & Photos with Santa Claus. Cost = $8 per car.

Altoona Rifle & Pistol Club invites you and your family to their weekly shotgun shoots that are held every Tuesday at 7:30PM. We welcome all ages and skill levels. We are located 7 miles north of Altoona in the heart of Sinking Valley.
